Why Love-a-Mug?

A new name, a new canvas — and 50 years of artistry poured into every design.

As a paper doll artist, publisher, and seller for over 50 years, my hands and wrists have taken a toll caring for my disabled Vet husband. But I was never going to stop making art.

Print-on-demand changed everything. Designing for products that are individually manufactured, printed, and shipped directly to you frees me up to focus on digital design work — the part I love most. Some of it is modification of my own artwork: paintings, paper doll art. Some is newly generated using AI, where I carefully describe what I have in mind, choose from the options, and then further manipulate those images to fit my chosen products.

Why mugs? I've designed over 400 to date (Summer 2026) — and counting. A mug is a great canvas. Everyone uses one, from tots to any age, for any occasion. Design topics are unlimited.

I love paintings, especially watercolor art, so you'll see a lot of that style. I also love good humor and words — so you'll find some of that too. Every mug is a little piece of art you get to hold in your hands every single day.

Meet the Artist

This is my personal artist's mug — my portrait surrounded by forget-me-nots, the flower of my production company, Forget-me-Not Productions. The Love-a-Mug logo graces the other side.

Forget-me-Not Productions is named for my grandmother, who had oceans of forget-me-nots blooming in her yard every spring. She always said, “Whenever you see these flowers, you will forget me not.” And it is so. Now they grow wild around my own home — and bloom in every logo I make.

It's a little piece of me in every cup — and a reminder that behind every design is a real artist who loves what she does.
